The episode ends in a garden, apparently the Afterlife, in which a mysterious woman dressed in a black suit, reminiscent of a Victorian governess, welcomes the recently deceased "to Heaven". She appears to know the Doctor but she refers to him as her boyfriend. As we wonder who she is, she introduces herself only as Missy.
