When Pickwell is the victim of a prank by Alfie and his students, she disappears leaving behind a suicide note blaming Alfie for her death. His feelings of guilt intensify as her ghost appears to be haunting him so, desperate to make amends with her restless spirit, Alfie organises a memorial service in her honour. After the service Pickwell appears to him again with demands. With visual references to 'Ghost' and 'The Ring'.
