In a brief scene at the end of the episode, Alfie gets into the car of the mystery benefactor who won him for £25,000 at the slave auction only to discover that the winning bidder is in fact Isobel Pickwell. Now wealthy following the death of her German consort, 'The Beast of Bergendorff', Pickwell has plans for Alfie.
