In a London bar on New Year's Eve 1999, a group of people preoccupied with their own diverse hopes, fears and expectations count down to the new millennium accompanied by the ticking of the clock.
Michelle's unnamed character is a young woman dressed to party whose animated conversation on the payphone is repeatedly cut off as she keeps running out of coins and has to ask the bartender for change.
This short film, co-produced by Michelle Gomez and the director, Rupert Wyatt, has no dialogue but controls the mood with a ticking clock and a multitude of sound effects. Jack Davenport is credited as an Executive Producer and also features as a man typing on his laptop computer.
