TV film about the production of a television drama with a cranky director and an anxious extra who has been given his first line. Michelle Gomez plays Judy, the make-up artist, who spends much of the day sitting beside the director (Bill Nighy) watching the action with her inimitable facial expressions. In her two scenes with dialogue, Judy gossips to her assistant and tries to prep a nervous actress who refuses to disrobe for her nude scene.
The film premiered on Sky on 15th September 2004 after launching in summer 2003.
