Mac has been offered a consultant position at another hospital and Sue doesn't want him to go. If being naked for his exit interview won't persuade him to stay, perhaps the death of the resident consultant would swing it? When a drunken and traumatised Guy changes the course of events, Sue is left at the hospital forced to join in group huddles while she waits for news on Mac's precarious situation.
