Michelle Gomez plays a main character in the second segment of the trilogy, "A Soft Touch". Heavily pregnant Catriona approaches "soft touch" Johnny in a pub and they are quickly married. However, shortly after the child is born, Catriona embarks on a sordid affair with thuggish neighbour Larry, leaving Johnny literally holding the baby.
